Barometer HD shows you the current barometric pressure in different units, including inHg, mmHg, hPa, atm, millibars. It also shows your altitude at STP.
This app only runs on devices with the barometric sensor, such as the Motorola Xoom and Galaxy Nexus.
Planned upcoming features include:
- Barometer Widget for the Android Desktop. - More calibration options. - Triggerable sound effects on major pressure changes (storm warning mode). ..and more!
There are currently some issues with phone-sized screens being too small to read all of the pressure values.
Recent changes: - Fixed Barograph not showing pressure readings. - Fixed white-screen problem on Google Galaxy Nexus devices. - Sensor readings now restart when the app is resumed from Home being pressed.

Good app. I would say this is one of the best apps, if not thee best app for reading Barometric Pressure. One great feature is that you can calibrate it if you're phone is not calibrated.

Frustrating & of little use. I have spent a couple of years of my life leading walking and skiing holidays.My comments are related to how I use a real barometer/altimeter Weather - in the absence of a forecast, changes in atmospheric pressure, tracked every hour or two over a day or so, give some useful idea of likely weather changes. In particular, steep drops in pressure over several hours give indicate a very high probability of much worse weather arriving. this app fails tog ive any meanigful record of changes over any useful period; it does not allow for hourly recordings of pressure over a period of (say) 24 or 48 hours (which would be extremely useful).

Dial sucks Dial is not too clear numbers are hard to see, but it looks like a good idea. Not sure if it's because white on black or what try or green or reverse it and make black on white. Also too many didgits when listing inches.

Nothing like the pic Ok so what's the point of having such an eye catching graphic of a barometer in your description and then your app shows nothing but a linear drawing of a barometer that looks like it's from the 70s? I mean really...did you think we're blind or that we wouldn't expect the graphics in your app to match the graphic in your app description??!!
