This is a very simple application that dramatically increases your battery life - up to 2.5 days standby time!
No task killers or other stuff needed for longer battery life.
How it works:
Best if used right before your phone is about to shutdown, this application simply backs up and then removes batterystats.bin system file and gracefully shuts down your Android phone.
While your phone is completely OFF, charge it overnight and make sure it is a good FULL charge.
Then simply turn you phone in the morning - fresh batterystats.bin file will be regenerated by the system - and enjoy fantastic battery life!
May be used as soon as you detect poor battery performance.
Has been tested on a multitude of ROOTED devices.

I had never calibrated a battery by running the tool on a drained battery, but my attempts at calibration on a fully charged device with other apps did not fix my "drain fast and then read 1% forever" problem and so I was desperate! Remember, the screen dims that low! So I wrote to this Dev and in a fast response, he said that he got better results this way. So I tried it and it d*mn sure did fix my problem! What I did is as follows: 1) Drain the battery. 2) Plug it in and start it up (I ended up having to charge it for 2 min to get it to stay on, even plugged in). 3) Run the Calibration. 4) Tell the app to "Shut It Down" (the phone). 5) Charge to 100% & Green LED. 6) Unplug it and Start it up. 7) Run until it shuts off and restart it to drain it fully. 8) Charge it again. -- That's it! You're done! As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to battery apps, this one is the greatest thing since sliced bread! Thanks, Dev!!! :-)

Kind of screwed up my battery levels. Ever since I've used this, my battery levels always got straight to 100% whenever I reboot. This means that my phone always crashes and shuts unexpectedly.

Didn't work for me If your phone is "rom"ed, you can do the same from recovery mode. I had high hopes for this one. Oh well.

Not so sure I am not liking that this app did not invoke SU since it requires root. Either this app is funky our Super User is.
