Battery Sound Notification was updated in April 2026 & once I figured out the icons, it is easy to create services that notify me when I disconnect the charger and when the battery discharges to 35, 30, 25, 20 & 15% charge. The volume from the Google speech engine is controlled through the media channel and was at the right level with the YouTube video I was watching. A tutorial is in the play store in About this app.

Doesn't work with Android 15. Due to permissions, it can't function whilst the screen is off, and it otherwise wouldn't work because of legacy picker.
