Comments on Proximity Sensor Screen On Off for Android

★★★★☆ Kok Seong Yeoh (Christopher) · Aug 31, 2024

On my phone, the proximity sensor screen off only works when the app in foreground.

★★★★☆ Cherie Sanders · May 2, 2025

I started using this app when the last one I had gone defunct, and it does its job pretty well. The one issue I have is that it can be hard using the phone when it's active because it will activate every time I try to check my notification bar or otherwise use the top of my screen. If they add a "delay" feature, with options of hundreds of milliseconds, I will gladly bump this up to 5 stars.

Works... but add this to the notification setting tile or make a home screen button to toggle on the mode

★☆☆☆☆ Aswin P Kumar · Dec 10, 2024

It's not working. I changed my display, so some issue with the proximity sensor (maybe). So tried this app for toggling off proximity sensor completely. But ID didn't work even after giving admin permission. So uninstalled the app

★☆☆☆☆ Fresh Kid · Sep 15, 2024

This app just made my phone screen go entirely blank, I can hear message notifications and call ringtones but my screen is not coming on

★☆☆☆☆ Ansar Abbas · Nov 23, 2025

first of all after some days it's not working and 2ndly what rubbish is this when you're testing automatically screen of click and screen get off, and you wait all day when app will stop working and your screen get on 🖐️🖐️

★★☆☆☆ Law · Jun 29, 2025

Everyone works except keeping the screen on when the proximity sensor activates, which was my main use case.
