★★★★★ I actually purchased this book. I had trouble winning this one and had to play through a few times to get the good ending. The story was enjoyable with a good plot but winning and getting the good ending can be difficult. I liked the different types of magic and the combat: however the romance options in this game are limited. It would have been cool to betray the empire and help the Riis. Unfortunately you cannot do that. It's a decent read, but some events were repetitive. Others are unavoidable.

★★★★★ The extended pronoun choices made me roll my eyes, but it's a very well written story that captures the spirit of adventure so many fantasy choice ofs fail to.

★★☆☆☆ Well, I really want to play this game but for some reason the page is white!! As in completely white with only the show stats and the three dots appearing!!

★★☆☆☆ Well, so much for having options. You have to play through a very, very particular way in order to reach the good ending and there is so little interaction with romance options that you won't really get to know them.

★★☆☆☆ I thought this book would be a powerful mage but is not is but weak as hell novice I am kind let down
