Very Nice App Took a bit of time to get it working through wifi hotspot and usb. Once set up though working great with a Samsung S4 (kitkat, rooted) and a Windows 8.1 laptop. Best option for me is 1. connect phone via usb 1. Enable usb tethering 3. Start the app and the PC client 4. Enter the IP address from the app into the PC client gui. This way you don't have to mess about with hotspot or making sure they are both on the same network. Main use for me, if I'm away I can use unlimited data package on my phone and mirror the screen to the larger laptop screen for streaming video etc. So far working with local video, YouTube, iPlayer and flash video from a browser. Love it, great value at £2.99. Hats off to the developer.

Client app crashes I can't use the USB service because the client app on my windows 7 laptop just crashes out. I'm not interested in going through a root.

I installed this app on my Nexus 5x running oreo 8.0. I also installed the companion client on both Windows-10 and Linux/Debian/Stable/Stretch/9. In both instances, the client failed to run due to unavailable run time libraries (both windows and linux). Basically, this software appears to be out of date and will not work. It sounds good, the web pages look good, however I received no response through the support channels or the technical forum. I have therefore requested a refund and do not anticipate trying again.

Doesnt work Non rooted mode doesnt work for s5. I downloaded the client app and phone app and is ot working. Tried to manually enter ip address, says its not valid.
