Description
Beacon Connected Care gives you online access to a scheduled visit with your Beacon provider on your smartphone, tablet or computer. It is private, secure and easy. You can also have a video visit for minor urgent health care issues 24/7/365 — from your home, office or anywhere.
Many of our Beacon Medical Group doctors offer video visits, so you can see your doctor from the comfort of home using your smartphone or computer. Many of our patients are now choosing this convenient option. First, call and ask your provider to schedule a telehealth visit.
For urgent care, Beacon also extends our provider and urgent care network by partnering with the Online Care Group, the nation’s first and largest primary care group devoted to telehealth. The physicians are U.S. board certified doctors with an average of 15 years of experience and are licensed to practice medicine in Indiana and Michigan (and most other states). You can read each doctor’s profile to learn about his or her education and experience before beginning a virtual visit. All of our providers are certified and credentialed according to the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards.
Services available include: Scheduled Visits - online visits with your Beacon provider. Online Urgent Care 24/7 - board-certified doctors, anytime, anywhere Nutrition Counseling - scheduled visits with registered dietitians Behavioral Health Counseling- scheduled visits with licensed counselors and psychologists

Very convenient when not feeling well--anytime from the comfort of your home. Providers are excellent. The form to fill out prior to the visit is easy and concise. The quality of audio and video is extremely good. The visits are brief and to the point. I love using this service.

When will the Beacon Patient Portal be available through the Beacon Connect App? It would make appointments, Lab Results, Rx Refills, Dr, Patient messaging so much easier.

It would be nice to have a rating feature to rate our visit. My most recent visit was a disaster. The doc seems to have preset stereotypes and didn't actually listen to me. Furthermore, his note about the visit spoke ill against my pcp, which really upsetting. My pcp is an amazing doctor whom actually listens to my concerns and works with me, he isn't accusatory like the doc in the app.

Very difficult experience when physician entered my birthdate incorrectly on prescription. When to pharmacy to pick up medication, and they couldn't find it. There was no way to contact the physician to correct, Connected Care does not list a phone number. I was at St Walgreens for 2 1/2 hours with my infected eye feeling like it had been buffed with sand paper. Probably spoke to people in 3-4 different countries trying to rectify and got zero sympathy on the way. Terrible experience.

The app is garbage. Once you put in your username and password the screen and control buttons on flash. Tech support simply suggests the issue is on the user end even though the doctor office admits to have a lot of issues with this app. There are far better choices to use for virtual meetings.
