Can't see the products already uploaded in the database by me or anyone else. Doesn't let you search the name too just the ingredients But great one to tell you which product has microplastics and which doesn't!

The best microplastics' app out there. This app makes it very easy to spot plastic in products and uses a cool database of barcodes. Although I have worked with and engaged in microplastic research, I have learned new things from this app and was surprised at really how many things contain microplastic.

I very much like the concept of the app, but it is not reliable. I scanned a screenshot of an ingredient list retrieved from a manufacturers' website, clearly stating ingredients such as acrylic copolymer, polyester polymer etc. which are listed as microplastics on the btmb website, but the app told me everything was fine. It did detect pvp in another product though.

Wanted to scan the UPC code. Instead, it scanned the ingredients, like they ever listed them.
