The app is great overall, but it's really annoying that I can't add new products. When I press save nothing happens or if I can press it it just loads and in the end it doesn't save it. Which is annoying when you spent a long time typing in the ingredients...

5 Scans per week just because you don't want to pay money is outrageous. I used this app for years since I'm highly allergic to gluten, but now it won't even show anymore if a product is gluten-free or not! I tried over and over to add it to the list of things I'm allergic to, and it just won't work. Really sad because there is still some products like make-up where you can't see the ingredients at first glance. So sad

Update to reply: Sorry, but this is no valid reason to not support older Android versions. Android version support has nothing to do with developer strength. What specific Android 8+ functions, that are not included in older Android versions, do you need for your app to work? Never seen another such app. Also, why can't we see the product's ingredients on your website anymore? So effectively I and probably many other users cannot use Code Check anymore. Original review: "This app is not available for your device" So they don't want you to use their app on certain devices. I'm wondering what the reason could be, because effectively there is no reason at all, it's just a scam. It's the same with their website where you cannot see the product's ingredients anymore, but *all* other information, including nutrition. You can see right away that they are disingenuous and not really honest with their users.
