Comments on Beer Style Compendium for Android

★★★★☆ Brett Binns · Feb 26, 2021

Great app, old data I use this app regularly. As a fairly simple app, its flawless and provides ready access to its data. The biggest problem with the app is spelled out in the name. It is stuck on the 2015 BJCP standard.

★★★★★ Zak Slagle · Oct 17, 2023

Amazing reference for beer style guides, including the current BJCP edition. Searchable, bookmark able styles, easy color references, clean and easy to use. My go-to beer reference

★★★★★ Travis Cherry · Feb 19, 2024

Great to have this at your disposal at the next judging session. Loved having the color range on the guideline that I can hold up to the beer. Well done!

Was looking for a tasting notes type of app, where U could walk into a shop or bar and look up info on the beer or type. I notice that examples of each beer are listed in description. Why is the list not searchable ? Even in a limited capacity ? On the plus side, I did enjoy the bits of history on hops and terminology of ales vs largers etc....but currently this doesn't quiet do what im looking for. Would like to see.... Search for 'McEwan' or Country or type ie ale. Taste notes and details
