Bell Tower - Hourly chimes

Ever walked past a grand old church and thought, "That's a great idea — I wish my phone did that"? Now it does.

Bell Tower brings the charm of a classic bell tower straight to your Android device. Simple, satisfying, and a little old-fashioned in the best possible way: every hour, your phone chimes as many times as the current hour. One bell at 1 o'clock. Twelve bells at noon. You'll never lose track of time again — and neither will anyone sitting near you in a quiet office.

How it works

Bell Tower plays a bell strike for each hour of the current time. It's the kind of feature that used to require a cathedral. Now it just requires a phone.

Why you'll love it

Always know the time without looking at your screen.
Lightweight and battery-friendly — it's just bell chimes on top of the hour.
Works in the background, so you never miss an hour.

Bell Tower is perfect when:

Your hands are covered in dough, grease, or garden soil and reaching for your phone just isn't an option — but you still need to know if it's already past lunchtime.
You're cooking, painting, woodworking, or deep in any hands-on project and a quick glance at the clock would cost you a clean shirt.
You're trying to build a more mindful relationship with time, without staring at a screen every five minutes.
You simply love the sound of bells and think the modern world could use a little more of that.

Who is Bell Tower for?
Bell Tower is for anyone who appreciates a slower, more deliberate way of tracking time. Fans of old clocks, cozy cottages, vintage cars, and the general feeling that life used to have better sound design will feel right at home.
A note on etiquette:
Please be considerate of those around you. Twelve bells at midnight is charming in a medieval village square. In a movie theater, considerably less so. We trust your judgement.
