Planet Aegis puts a planet in the middle of the screen and a curved shield in orbit around it. Meteors come in from every direction at once. You swipe to rotate the shield, and that is the only thing standing between the rock and the surface.

Because the shield is an arc rather than a full ring, defending one side always means exposing another. The game is a constant reprioritisation: two rocks approaching from opposite sides means one of them is getting through, and choosing which one is the actual skill.

The threats differ enough to change your choices. Small meteors are fast and shallow. Large ones are slow but take a chunk of the planet's health if they land. Splitters break into two on contact with the shield, which means blocking them badly is worse than blocking them well and sometimes worse than not blocking them at all.

Freeze and blast pickups drift in on the same paths as the danger. Freeze halts everything for a few seconds and is the reset you save for a bad moment. Blast clears the screen but takes the pickups with it.

The loss screen reports threats deflected, the planet's remaining health and the longest unbroken block streak.

The gallery unlocks planet skins and impact-flash effects as your totals climb, and settings tune the shield rotation sensitivity.
