Been a user for years and gave it 5 stars. Since a couple of weeks the app does not download new feeds, keeps pausing and disappears from lock screen. Will downgrade to an older version. Off this does not work. I'm dropping BP......(sad !!)

I used Beyond Pod for a long time. It was so useful for making a playlist with ease. In 2019, it started to randomly pause my podcasts while I listened. That became more frequent over time. I finally gave up in 2022 when it stopped allowing me to add new podcasts to my feed, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app to fix it. Ended up just not being able to add podcasts at all anymore and had to abandon for a working app. Still works fine for my spouse on his Samsung, though.

I love this app for its versatility and degree that you can customize each podcast feed so well. Unfortunately, the unlock key is no longer compatible with my phone or android 14, so I can't use any of the pro features that I paid for.
