Bicycle Parking

Bicycle Parking helps you remember where you parked your bike, find bicycle parking nearby, and add new parking spots that aren’t on the map yet.

Find Bicycle Parking Nearby

Open the map to see bicycle parking, bike racks, repair stations, bike-share stations, and other cycling infrastructure in your area.
If you find bicycle parking that isn’t on the map, you can add it by taking a photo and marking its exact location. New locations are submitted to the public database for review so other cyclists can find them too.

Map Markers

Green — Confirmed Bicycle Parking
Confirmed bicycle parking locations added by users. Tap a marker’s info window to view its photo and any available notes. Different icons may represent different types of parking, such as lockers, wave racks, and other rack styles.

Yellow — Pumps & Repair Stations
Bike pumps and repair stations. Smaller yellow markers may come from external data sources and have not yet been confirmed.

Small Purple Dots (and smaller icons) — Bicycle Parking from External Sources
Bike racks and bicycle parking imported from public datasets. These locations may not have been independently confirmed.
If you know of an external data source that isn’t included yet, please contact us so it can be added.

Blue — Bike Share Stations
Locations for public bike-share systems.

Purple — Where You Parked Your Bike
Mark where you left your bike so you can easily find it again.
Only one personal parking marker can be active at a time. To remove it, tap the marker that says “I Parked Here!” and choose the option to delete it. The “Park Here” button will then become available again for your next ride.

Find Your Parked Bike
Forgot exactly where you left your bike?
Tap the My Location button in the bottom-right corner to switch between your current location and the location where you parked.

Add Missing Bicycle Parking
Tap Add Spot to add bicycle parking that isn’t on the map yet.
Take a photo of the parking area, then use the mini map to position the marker as accurately as possible. You can drag the pin, zoom in for better placement, or reset the map to refresh your location and zoom level.
The mini map uses either satellite or standard map imagery based on your preference for the main map.
Submitted locations include the latitude, longitude, and photo needed to review the bicycle parking location.
A photo is required because submissions are reviewed before being added to the confirmed database, and unfortunately not every submitted image actually shows bicycle parking.

Map Options
Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner to:
• Switch between standard and satellite map views
• Clear the bicycle parking cache
Bicycle parking types and icons are occasionally updated. If newer icons aren’t appearing, or some markers aren’t displaying correctly, clearing the cache may help refresh the map data.
