Description

Bid2Ride delivers your ride anytime, anywhere, and at your price. Open the app, input your go-to address, and place your bid. The app will display what a local taxi and Ride Sharing service would cost for that ride. Bid2Ride takes into consideration actual minutes, miles and starting fees to determine the costs. The app then automatically suggests a fair bid for the driver, and that's it! Place your bid and ride.

Disclaimer: Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Bid2Ride gets background location updates for drivers. If you are using Bid2Ride as a passenger; GPS will not run in the background. It will only run while you are using the app.

★★☆☆☆ Downloaded app to give it a try in earning extra money.... however I haven't gotten a single request, and every time I log in I get a notice saying no internet you will not receive requests. And yet I have unlimited data on my phone as well as Wi-Fi at home. And it still gives me this notice. Thinking about deleting account and app. Oh and I live in Alexandria va, so I should be getting requests but don't.

★★☆☆☆ I am in the Metro Washington DC area. So far this has been useless. No one available or every driver participating in this is tied up or no one accepts the 85% bid. In one case this past weekend, my bid as proposed by the app was $25, no one accepted. I turned off this app and went to Lyft and got as driver for $24 and change. So at this point in time, the app is not useful in this area, where Bid2Ride says it has 1000 drivers.
