BinDry Grain Coach

BinDry Grain Coach turns "should I run the fans tonight?" into a confident, math-backed answer.

Model your real bins, attach a real fan, and let the app do the psychrometric and bushel math that decides whether tonight's air is drying air or rewetting air. No account, no ads and no network required.

BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO STORE GRAIN
Family-farm operators, custom harvesters, elevator and co-op staff, ag students and smallholders — anyone storing corn, wheat, soybeans, canola or barley. This is a decision workbench, not a logbook or a note tracker.

BIN BUILDER
True geometry for round, flat and hopper-bottom bins. Enter dimensions, eave height, peak fill, test weight and grain type to get live bushel capacity, grain depth and a scaled cross-section diagram with fill level.

EQUILIBRIUM MOISTURE DIAL
Pick grain type, grain temperature and air temperature and RH. The signature radial gauge returns EMC plus a mold, rewetting or drying risk band with a plain-language verdict.

DRYING PLANNER
Convert a real fan (CFM rating, static pressure) into CFM per bushel, classify the system as natural-air, low-temperature or high-temperature, estimate hours to target moisture and plot drying-front depth over time.

SAFE STORAGE CLOCK
Enter moisture, grain temperature and foreign matter to get allowed storage days, a color-coded mold and insect risk gauge, and a live countdown with alerts before the window closes.

SHRINK & SETTLEMENT
Wet bushels to dry bushels, shrink percent, water weight lost, handling loss and a cash-value comparison at your own price and dock schedule.

TWO-LOT BLEND SOLVER
Solve for the dry bushels (or wet bushels) needed to reach a target average moisture, with a validation warning when the blend is physically impossible.

48-HOUR AERATION WINDOW
An optional, consent-gated Open-Meteo lookup charts dryable versus rewetting hours per day and recommends fan start and stop times. A manual ambient entry mode keeps the app fully functional offline.

FAN & ENERGY COST DESK
Fan and burner library, kW and hours inputs, kWh per bushel, fuel or electricity cost, and a per-bin cost comparison so the cheapest drying strategy is visible.

ONE-PAGE PDF DRYING PLAN
A drying plan and bin summary generated fully on-device, ready for the share sheet or to print and hand to a hired hand or the elevator.

FIELD NOTES LIBRARY
14 seeded grower topics — drying-front physics, condensation on cold grain, core vs. perimeter spoilage, aeration vs. drying, canola and soybean brittleness — with short quizzes to check retention.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
All math runs on your device. No account, no ads, no tracking. The weather lookup is opt-in and clearly disclosed, and the app is fully functional without it.

BinDry Grain Coach is a decision aid based on standard grain-drying and equilibrium-moisture relationships. Bin conditions, grain quality and local guidance vary — always combine the numbers with your own judgment.
