Biotadex

Everything alive, collected.

Photograph a plant, bird, bug or mushroom and Biotadex tells you what it is, reads you the facts, and files it in your own field guide. Every walk becomes a hunt, and every species you find is a new entry.

SNAP IT, NAME IT
• Point the camera at anything wild and get an ID in seconds, with an honest confidence score.
• Uncertain finds go to the community, who confirm or correct them.
• Tap to hear the facts read aloud.

BUILD YOUR FIELD GUIDE
• Every species is graded from Common to Very Rare, and rarer finds score more.
• Level up badges as a botanist, birder, mycologist and more.
• Daily, weekly and monthly challenges with points and sticker rewards.

EXPLORE A LIVING MAP
• See what has been recorded near you, without ever revealing anyone's exact location.
• Open free crates at landmarks and collect postcards from the places you visit.
• Pro members can claim sanctuaries and hold them against other collectors.

COLLECT AND TRADE
• Numbered stickers in gold, holo, pixel, amber and more, released in monthly drops.
• Trade your spares with friends.

LOOK, DON'T TOUCH
An identification in an app is never a reason to eat, handle or disturb anything. The locations of vulnerable species are never shared, and nothing in the game rewards taking a risk to get a shot.

FREE TO PLAY
Ten free scans every week. Top up with scan packs, or go unlimited with Biotadex Pro, an annual subscription you can cancel anytime in Google Play.

Available in English and Spanish.

Biotadex needs your camera to identify what you photograph, and your location to tag finds and place crates near you. Your exact position is never shown to other people.
