This is absolutely an amazing must-have app. It's never steered me wrong, found the correct species of bird every single time for years. I love the fact that you can choose what language you want the name of the birds in, saves an extra Google search every time.

Doesn't show you what it is identifying in real time. Must submit and wait a few seconds for a response. Worst of all it can't even identify a cardinal!

Sometimes, the audio records with so much static, you can't hear the bird, and the recording is useless.

It sounded like a good APP to identify bird song. But I got not one correct identification in my region, Haute Provence (France), although I had the location set correctly. Some wrong identifications were quite hilarious. Like to mistake the cries of a little owl shortly after midnight with a gull or the song of a nightingale sitting in the bush in front of me by a robin. So, unfortunately this App is useless to identify birds in Southern France.

When I needed my observation the most, it did not appear, even after the one valid identification, I closed the app thinking will check sounds later, but it showed no observation of that day, that's so disappointing since that was most probably a new species in the area!
