Comments on Blackboard by Boogie Board for Android

So because it's possible to find my location using Bluetooth scans I have to give my permission to access my location, just to connect a Bluetooth device to the app because Android requires it? It says it doesn't collect any location data but still. I think it's rather ridiculous that I have to give location access to use the pen, a Bluetooth device, with it. Other than from that the app is very useful.

Blackboard in combination with the Boogie Board smart pen, makes for a Great note-taking experience. Go go go

Personally I love it and it's simplicity. I use it mostly for bible study. I like the colored tags, what I do is make a key for the diff colors, so I know what type of bible notes I'm looking for. For example blue tags within the notebook equals torah law study. Red equals torah history. Orange equals word mapping and yellow could mean character study etc. Possibilities are endless if I get creative enough. It really is a neat little app. Thx for the experience.

I was skeptical of all the terrible reviews. After using the app, I am still in disbelief that after over a year of legitimate complaints, this company has done absolutely nothing to improve its product. Making the app better would not take much: Automatically capturing an enhanced note-like (black and white, high contrast) image. Automatically cropping and straightening the image at the screen borders. How hard could that be?? The manual corner select tool is much inferior free scanner apps.

Useless app for Blackboard Liquid Crystal Paper, may work with other pen models.

I absolutely love the Boogie Board. But this app is no longer usable. When I attempt to take a picture, the circle turns round and round ad nauseam. I am simply taking a picture of my board and deleting it afterward.
