Taking black and white photos has a very romantic filling to it and for that I like this app because it reminds me of the old photography age with easy and nice way plus having fun.

Ideal for checking out B & W filter effects for my film photography.
★★★★★JP de Vries· Jul 1, 2025
Very helpful for doing value studies, that is, to help me see light and dark regardless of hue
★★★★☆Martha Kliem· Nov 22, 2020
The classic black and white is very useful for determining color values.
★★★★★Richard Ries· Feb 17, 2022
An excellent B+W Camera app. I LOVE the ability to re-arrange -- and even shut off -- the filters. This allows me to not see filters I don't want, and put my preferred ones to the front of the list. A++, XnView team! --Rich

It is a great black and white camera program, much better than all the others. But the photos do not get to the regular place on my phone where all my other photos go, into Google Photos. That sucks because it writes the photos to a weird place on the phone where they never get backed up and never show up with all my other photos. So basically you use the app then you can't just see the photos in Google Photos, where they go, who knows?

A photo filters app with an interface handling the camera. Ads and beyond that not much original or something different from a thousand other apps in the Play store.

It has a couple of effects. One of them does absolutely nothing past the preview (e.g. re-saves unchanged original if only that effect is used, even though preview is an obvious-speckled effect).
