Really great filters and can see a great deal of passion that was put together 😊📷🤘 UI is simple, but I personally gave to get use to cropping the image after taking a pic, but it's really a great experience. Could we have a raw option?

One of my favorite apps for using in the post-production process of editing monochrome photographs. Due to its powerful tools coupled with its minimal and intuitive interface, Hypocam is always part of my production toolbox and is typically one of the first apps I'll download when I get a new phone. Fortunately it's free to use with the option to purchase additional filters and textures, but they don't necessitate producing high quality edits. 5/5 - Hypocams been in my top 5 since its launch.

After using it and applying some grain to simulate a grainy look, I got a grain in a form of minuscule squares that layered over the original photo. Too bad, it doesn't produce an authentic grainy look.

Basic black & white app with filters you can add after taking the photo, not-in camera live filters!!! -Select desirable b&w filter and take photo - go to the gallery, tap on photo (3 faders button top right in android) and a menu at the bottom will appear) - edit light, ratios, add grain and the last button with layer icon will allow to add textures. Swipe right on the menu to access all editing options. Summary: Misleading app. If this app had live filters - then yes, wasted money.
