blindGram Assistant

blindGram Assistant is an accessibility tool built for blind and visually impaired people. It works alongside your screen reader to help you read, understand and use your phone.

What it can do, only when you ask:

• Read screen text: reads text inside images and unlabelled parts of the screen using on-device OCR, so your screen reader can speak it.
• Describe the screen: gives a spoken description of what is on the screen.
• Ask about the screen: ask "how do I...?" and get exact screen-reader swipe steps for the screen you are on.
• Voice dictation: speak into any text field and the text is inserted where your cursor is. Password fields are never used.
• Do a task & Routines: let the assistant perform step-by-step actions (tap, scroll, type, go back), or save completed tasks as routines to repeat offline. It always asks for your clear Yes or No before anything sensitive, such as sending a message, making a call, paying or deleting.

Private by design:
• The assistant acts only when you press the accessibility button or gesture. It does not monitor your screen in the background.
• Text reading, object labels, voice dictation and saved routines work offline on your device.
• We do not collect, store or share your screen content.
• Optional: if you add your own AI service key and accept the consent notice, screen images or element lists may be sent to that service for extra features.

Accessibility service disclosure: blindGram Assistant uses Android's AccessibilityService API (declared as an accessibility tool) to read the content of the current screen and to perform actions you request, in order to help blind and visually impaired users use their device. It is used only on your request.

Works seamlessly with blindGram — First & Most Popular Accessible Telegram for Blind People. The app shows banner ads inside its settings screens. Users in the EU and UK see a consent message before ads are shown.
