I find the BOM Weather site useful and mostly reliable and accurate. Like all systems, you need to use it regularly in order to use it effectively.

Good, reliable app. One note: I support the BoM and want to use it as my primary weather source, but have needed to install a third party app to get a UV widget on my home screen (serves as a passive prompt to wear sunscreen). Especially in a country like Australia, it would be great if our official meteorological agency's app included a widget with current UV index.

Great service, improved accuracy since the "good old days". We need a radar in Port Lincoln. Adelaide weather generally comes from the west and Eyre Peninsula has no rain radar.

This is my preferred weather app because it's most accurate but I haven't been able to add the widget to my home screen for months now. Have been checking sporadically if bug is fixed, but it still is not.

Millions of taxpayer money poured into the BOM and this is the best they can do. Slow app, radar doesn't keep up, dodgy forecasts.

Old app had much better map. Now there is only white & pale purple from current time onwards so can't ever tell if heavy rain heading our way. Please bring back the yellows etc.
