Choose a GIF or video of 10 seconds/300 frames or less, and hit "convert" to get a fresh new bootanimation.zip file dropped into your default download directory. Move it to the appropriate location for your device (usually /data/local/) and enjoy the new way your phone/device says "Hello!"
Conversion occurs via cloud services, therefore a processing fee is required.
Android Boot Animation sequences are restricted to a constant frame rate(default=25), therefore any converted animated GIFs may not perform exactly as the original GIF.
Input video/GIFs are automatically rotated to compensate for Android screen perspective; in other words, wide screen video(4X3/16X9,etc) results in wide screen boot animation, not tall screen. This may not be desirable for some clips/GIFS,devices; use the "Portrait" checkbox in situations where you prefer not to rotate the input.
Most devices are fully booted within 10 seconds, therefore video length is restricted to 10 seconds or less, animated GIFs to 300 frames.
Input resolution is carried forward to the converted boot animation. Exceeding your devices maximum resolution may result in poor or undesired performance of the resulting boot animation. Hint: HD video clips typically do NOT perform well as boot animations; video buffering and optimizations are not available so early in the boot process. Suggestion: set video resolution to a lower quality when recording; If the preview image extends beyond the convert button, the resolution is probably too high.
Google keeps changing the "chooser"(where you pick the GIF/VIDEO to convert) with each new release. This has introduced an issue where items in the selection list may not be located on the device's native storage. The app is not yet able to access remotely located media and fails when doing so. Please download the source gif/video and use local media until this can be corrected.

Costs more than expected It charges 99 cents per boot animation made, but the app itself costs 99 cents. So it would be obvious to have the first one free, i have no more money on my Google wallet account to see if it works. Do not download unless you have enough money.
