Boring App: Life Records

Boring App is a private document organizer for the important records, dates, files, and details of adult life.

Keep the information you always end up searching for, such as passport details, license numbers, policy numbers, account numbers, warranties, serial numbers, memberships, household records, family records, and other important documents.

No account. No cloud. No tracking. No ads. Everything you save stays on your phone.

ORGANIZE IMPORTANT RECORDS

Boring App helps you keep important life documents and records in one calm place.

Save key facts, notes, dates, and attachments together, so you do not have to search through your email, screenshots, drawers, or random notes when you need something.

You can attach photos or PDF files to a record, so the actual document stays together with the important details.

FAST DOCUMENT ENTRY

Choose a record type and Boring App suggests useful fields for it, so you can save important information without starting from a blank form.

With Pro, you can scan a document and Boring App reads the text on your phone, suggests key facts and dates for you to confirm, and keeps the image with the record. Nothing is uploaded.

FIND DETAILS QUICKLY

Search across titles, key facts, notes, dates, and attachment names instantly.

Search works fully offline, so you can find your important details even without internet.

Scanned documents can also become searchable, making it easier to find numbers, dates, names, or details that only appear inside a photographed page.

DATES AND REMINDERS

Add multiple dates to each record, such as expiry dates, renewal dates, service dates, payment dates, or reminder dates.

The Upcoming view shows what is coming soon, grouped by month. It is a simple reminder list, not another calendar to manage.

Open a reminder to jump straight to the related record, or mark it as handled when it is done.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE

Boring App is built for privacy.

Your data stays on your device. The app works offline, and there are no servers for your personal records to be uploaded to.

Boring App does not collect personal data for advertising. There are no ads.

You can protect the app with a PIN and AES-256 encryption. You can also choose to block screenshots. Pro adds fingerprint or face unlock.

BACKUP AND PORTABILITY

Because your records live on your device, they stay under your control.

You can back up your data anytime to keep a copy, move to a new phone, or share important information with someone you trust.

Pro can create automatic backups and encrypt the backup file.

FREE TO USE. ONE-TIME PRO.

Boring App is free and useful without Pro.

Free features include records, key facts, notes, documents, full search, multiple dates and reminders, templates, the Upcoming view, manual backup, and PIN lock.

One optional Pro purchase adds on-device document scanning, automatic backup, fingerprint or face unlock, and encrypted backups.

No subscription. No dark patterns. Pay once, keep it.

Boring App is for the boring information that runs your life.

A simple, private, offline document organizer for important records, files, dates, and reminders.
