Very much enjoying Borrow Box, as I do like to have books to read or listen to on my phone. Very useful for journeys. There's a wide selection, and they are all free with your library subscription. What's not to like?

Absolutely brilliant app. I have recommended it to so many people. Just link it to your local library account and then search for audiobooks or electronic text books. And it's all free, no catches, totally free! It doesn't have every single book (but it's free!) but most of them, and sometimes you might have to wait a few months for new/popular books, but it's free! You can reserve books, and get an alert when it's ready for you, extend your loan a few times if you haven't finished. So good!

Be great if the audiobook functionality was improved to match similar apps. Please consider adding a bookmark button - the progress bar is for the whole book not a chapter and trying to find your place is really annoying. Sick of having to screenshot the app at regular intervals. Also, if the ability to toggle the reading bar progress between chapter & whole book that would be great but a bookmark situation at a minimum please 🙏

You cannot directly choose a category of ebooks to browse within. Instead, say you want to browse sci-fi, you have to scroll through every previous category, each of which has loaded previews of each category's books. It takes ages. App needs an option just to scroll the categories and then only load the books once you have chosen a category.

I keep getting banned by this app. It says my library have banned me for exceeding the number of loans, which is not even possible to do in the app, and when I speak to my library, they say they haven't banned me.
