Botam reads your bank and UPI payment alerts and records who sent how much in your gift ledger — automatically.

■ A gift ledger that fills itself from payment alerts
• When your bank or UPI app shows an incoming payment alert, Botam records the sender, amount and time.
• If the same name is in the guest book, their relationship (friend, family, work) is filled in too.
• A payment reported twice is recorded once. Collect requests, refunds and cashback are not counted.
• Not sure? It waits in "Unmatched payments" for you to check. Missed alerts can be filled in from your bank statement (CSV or Excel).

■ Zero fees from Botam
• Guests pay straight to your UPI ID or bank account from their own UPI app.
• Botam never holds your money and takes no commission. Every rupee goes directly to you.

■ QR guest book — the reception desk on one phone
• Guests scan a QR code and leave their name, relationship and a blessing — no app to install — then pay right away.

• Photos, UPI IDs, names and amounts are kept only in an encrypted database on your phone. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
• No sign-up. No ads.
• Move to a new phone with an encrypted backup and your recovery code.

■ Good to know
• Every feature is free. Only when a guest book or ledger passes 30 entries does a one-time purchase (not a subscription) show the rest.
• Automatic recording needs Android "Notification access". Alerts are read only on your phone and never sent anywhere. Everything also works by hand.
