The rules start simple.

Remember a number. Track a color. Recall where an object appeared.

Then BrainRally starts pushing back.

Sequences get longer. Time gets shorter. Distractions appear. Rules change. More information has to stay in your head at once.

Remember an intention while another task demands your attention. Complete an action game — then discover you were supposed to remember what you did.
