Decent and gets the job done. Connection to the speaker through the app can be iffy sometimes, like if you switch apps and return it needs to reload the speaker (connection doesn't persist in the background). Devs are very receptive to feedback so hoping to see these minor issues resolved in future updates. Pro-tip: Tap - and + on the speaker together to get a battery read out, so you don't need the app. (this seems to be left out from the manual for some reason)

Needs a bit of work, but otherwise it works pretty well, when it stays connected that is. Otherwise, I can be a few feet away from my Wi-Fi router, and it will keep saying the speaker disconnected as I'm adjusting the equalizer or bass. Will update once an update comes out.

Here I am in my hotel, with my shiny new speaker. I will absolutely not connect it to the hotel Wi-Fi. But guess what ... the stupid app seems to REQUIRE a Wi-Fi connection to complete the setup. Why?!? Bluetooth pairing worked fine, and I can play music (which does sound amazing). But I cannot (seem) to do any setup or configuration because of the Wi-Fi requirement. I also worry about the private VPN I prefer to run 100% of the time on any Wi-Fi connection I use on my phone.

Brane X Speaker price could be more affordable. No doubt speaker can hit way lower frequency than its competitors in size and price. Speaker sound isn't exactly balanced, had to EQ alot with missing sounds still. 5 band EQ was utter disappointment. If charging was type C...ohBOIIII Application is very unstable; -have to restart speaker app every time you minimize the app -can't configure speaker via Bluetooth (for a portable speaker) -trouble adding speaker to Wi-Fi (other speaker adds fine)
