Three rhythms are ready to go: box breathing 4-4-4-4, relaxing 4-7-8 and coherent breathing 5-5. You can build your own and save it — triangle breathing, say, with no hold after the exhale. Set a hold to zero and the phase disappears.
A session runs 3, 5 or 10 minutes, as long as you tell it, or with no limit. Pause it, or skip a phase you don't need. Switch apps or turn the screen off and the count carries on, with the current phase in a notification.
No ads, no purchases, no sign-up. It needs no internet and sends nothing anywhere.
This is not a medical app. If you have a heart or lung condition, high blood pressure, or you are pregnant, ask your doctor first. Never hold your breath while driving or in water.
