Broken Rift: Dominion is a real-time 4X strategy game where colony management, fleet movement, tactical space combat, espionage, diplomacy, and planetary warfare form one continuous campaign.

BUILD A LIVING FRONTIER

Develop colonies whose populations need power, food, housing, security, research, and industry. Place buildings on full planetary surfaces, manage taxes and morale, expand production, and position ground forces around the cities they may later defend.

MOVE REAL FLEETS THROUGH SPACE

Fleets are physical forces on the galaxy map. Send them into deep space, pursue radar contacts, merge and split task forces, transfer tanks near friendly worlds, or intercept an enemy before it reaches a vulnerable colony. Radar coverage matters: undiscovered worlds remain unknown and hostile fleets can disappear beyond your sensor network.

PLAN BEFORE THE FIRST SHOT

Space battles begin paused. Arrange ships into formations, place individual vessels inside the deployment zone, assign targets, protect transports, and set fighter posture before combat begins. Issue direct orders during battle, focus fire, or retreat before a bad engagement destroys your fleet.

FIGHT FOR THE SURFACE

Winning orbit is only the beginning. Transport ground armor, deploy attackers along a colony's outskirts, reposition defenders around their existing city, lay specialized mines, and command top-down armored assaults across the same terrain used during peacetime construction.

DESIGN THE FORCES YOU NEED

Configure future ships, fighters, tanks, and orbital stations with weapons, shields, sensors, engines, torpedoes, cargo bays, ECM, defensive pods, and other modules. Equipment changes battlefield performance and production cost, so the strongest blueprint is not always the fleet your economy can afford.

RESEARCH, SPY, AND NEGOTIATE

Unlock new hulls, weapons, defenses, sensors, industry, and ground armor through an interconnected research tree. Recruit operatives for reconnaissance, counterintelligence, sabotage, theft, and revolutions. Negotiate trade, pacts, alliances, tribute, threats, peace, and war with a galaxy of rival human-descended powers.

FULLY OFFLINE SMART AI

The complete local AI model ships with the game. Rival factions use persistent personalities, plans, intelligence, research, diplomacy, espionage, and strategic memory without a cloud inference service, account, API key, subscription, or separate model download. Deterministic simulation rules remain authoritative, and an authored fallback keeps the war running when accelerated Smart AI is unavailable.

THE ELDER LEGACY

Restore the Aurelian Directorate, survive the Veyran Dominion, and race for five lost Elder caches containing the components of a warship beyond anything the modern factions can build. Major operations branch into harder recovery missions rather than simply ending the campaign when you fail.
