Works intermittently. Never buy another Brother printer. Apps, more apps, and never works properly. Firmware updates that never update properly. Brother is not a good company

My DCP-T436W printer is excellent. But the Mobile Connect app has limitations: Folio / 8.5x13" missing - standard paper size in the Philippines, not in the app 5R/Photo sizes not available for PDF - can't print PDF layouts on photo paper No custom sizes - can't enter own dimensions No color controls - saturation/ brightness options only on computer Compatibility confusion - no notice that iPrint&Scan doesn't work for new models Please add these. The printer is great - the app just needs to catch.

I have an account with Brother but he app doesn't link to it. The app is good only for telling me what the problem is with printing but not how to solve the problem. Support is just answers for FAQ. IF the answers don't work, there's no recourse. Tells me to use genuine Brother ink cartridges to solve the problem, but I'm already using genuine Brother cartridges.
