Super fun for the kids-for some reason it registered really well when my son was playing, but when my daughter brushes, it doesn't register her brushes. She hated seeing her brother so successful and vanquishing so many Monsters when she tried so hard and couldn't. I'd love some hints-the fact that she is toothless for her front two teeth? The color of a toothbrush? Any ideas on how to help her? Otherwise, super fun and creative app. Kids love it and love bushing their teeth!!

Encourages bad brushing! Other brushing apps use a 2-min timer divided for the quarters of the mouth. This one just has a 1-min play session, encouraging kids to brush frantically. The heroes only attack if the app detects the toothbrush, but the detection is really spotty. Encourages kids to brush in a way that maximizes detection, like just brushing the front teeth, rather than getting to all slparts of the mouth. The end result is a frantic ineffective brush. What's the point?

The app is good and my daughter really likes it. What she doesn't like, is when it doesn't register her toothbrush, and it says to put it on screen, but she is. If you can't implement better acknowledgement then you need to make it pause the timer whenever it doesn't catch the toothbrush. So the timer would only could and this fighting would only count when it connects. It had not found the tooth brush for a full thirty seconds, and she felt frustrated and upset.
