I'm both a solo artist and in a band. Use my Chauvet laght bar for both. The BTAir app is SUPER easy. Just plug in and pair. From there I can customize my lighting. I usually just run a simple fade through the gamut of colors. Keeps the background interesting during the show

I gave it five stars because I found out how to pair the lights to the app after 9 months from that weid update that messed everything up. ACTIVATE YOUR LOCATION ON CEL PHONE. Install BT Air app Plug in lights Click MENU button until you see bLE then click the ENTER button then open BT Air app and start pairing. I HOPE THIS WORKS FOR YOU AS IT DID FOR ME. I was very frustrated when my lights stoped paring with the app after 2 years of perfect use.

Bluetooth pairing of this product is horrible - your phone has to be a foot away to pair, and you have to do it every time you switch away from the app. Walking up on stage and fooling with stuff isn't what I expected when it's supposed to be Bluetooth.

Garbage app. The lights can be seen as a detectable Bluetooth device, but the app will not find them if you're with them.
