SAVE YOUR LIGHTING SETUPS The Westcott StudioLink App lets you create and save up to 99 custom lighting scenarios as Scenes, making it easy to recall your favorite settings instantly. This feature is available in both the FJ and LED sections of the app.

IMPORTANT: Depending on your Android device, Bluetooth pairing might be required via the device's Bluetooth® Settings.
FJ-X Triggers _________________________ FJ-X2 Trigger - Enabling Bluetooth® 1. Turn on the FJ-X2m by long-pressing the Power|Menu button. 2. Press the second and third Menu Selection buttons simultaneously to enter the Settings menu. 3. Scroll down on the Selection wheel until the Bluetooth® icon is highlighted green. 4. Press down on the wheel to highlight [OFF], then press down on the wheel once to change the status to [ON]. 5. Press OK to return to the main screen. [Note: The Bluetooth® icon is in the bottom right-hand corner.
FJ-X3 Trigger - Enabling Bluetooth® 1. Turn on the FJ-X3 by long pressing the Power button. 2. Press and hold down the SYNC ∙ MENU button to enter the Settings menu. 3. Using the Control Pad click the down button until the Bluetooth® icon is highlighted green. 4. Press down on the center button of the Control Pad to highlight [OFF], then press down on the down button once to change the status to [ON]. 5. Press and hold down the SYNC∙MENU button to return to the main screen. [Note: The Bluetooth® icon is in the bottom right-hand corner.
NOTE: Powering off FJ-X triggers will turn off Bluetooth® functionality. Repeat the steps above to re-enable.
FJ-X Triggers - Connecting to the Westcott StudioLink App 1. Ensure that the FJ-X is on. 2. Ensure that the FJ light is on. 3. Open the StudioLink app. 4. Select the FJ Controls icon. 5. When the app displays the Select a Devices screen, select your FJ-X Trigger from the list of available devices.
IMPORTANT: To ensure optimal performance, keep all software and firmware up to date across all connected devices, including cameras, Westcott FJ & L-Series devices, mobile devices, and the Westcott StudioLink app.
L-Series COBs _________________________ L-Series: Connecting a COB 1. Ensure that the COB is ON. 2. Open the StudioLink app. 3. Select the LED Controls icon. 4. On the COB, quick-press the Dim•Bluetooth control knob to turn Bluetooth® on (symbol will appear). 5. Long-press the DIM•Bluetooth control knob until the Bluetooth® logo appears to blink on the COB [now discoverable to the StudioLink app]. 6. Select Add a Light or Group. 7. Tap the Add a Light option. 8. Locate your device in the Unpaired Devices section. 9. Tap on the COB device you want to connect. 10. The app will redirect you to the My Scene menu once connected.

Would be wonderful if someone would either write or create a video on how on earth to link to your FJ-X trigger... Notice how there's only 100+ downloads? Because no one knows how to use your app, only those who buy a 60watt flash, which I can't imagine being very many people. So, I downloaded when this was released, couldn't figure it out, and deleted the app. Got an email today, forgot that I had already tried it, and downloaded the app again and couldn't figure it out... deleted again
