After Mint, I have been looking for an alternative and finally settled for Budget. It's very similar to Monarch but better and more affordable. I also like that they're Canadian first. Connects with all my institutions except CIBC which I have to re authorize all the time (it was the same on monarch too) and I like the AI features. The only problem I have with them is lack of investment tracking but their support team said they'd make that available this year, so I guess I'd see.

I've been looking for Canadian budgeting app and Budget just works for me. I'm able to add my partner to my account and I can show him only what I want to show him. Other apps show people you add everything, so I like that I can decide what I want to show someone. The customer support is also incredible helpful and quick which I appreciate.

Go w/ Monarch. Increased rating to 2 stars because they finally refunded. I forgot to cancel, free trial ended, did so 3 hrs after being charged. First feedback: outright refusal—have receipts. "No refunds after trial ends." Thet ignored my emails, then lied about their ability to initiate a Play refund. They even banned me from their Subreddit after I posted ONCE there. People aren't dumb. I already have my refund and no reason to lie. Budget needs to save face. I have nothing to gain or lose

Paid for this app then it stopped syncing with my bank. I have to type email and password each time I want to log in and I keep trying to reset my bank sync but nothing happens. It was syncing fine in the beginning on the free trial but I can't recommend the paid verson
