The developers are very responsive to feedback and questions in the app chat. I like the ability to do custom time periods for budgeting and custom categories. I am looking forward to continuing improvements. I appreciate the ability to track my accounts offline but the online option is there if desired. The subscription prices are reasonable too. Thanks for a great app 👍

After Mint, I have been looking for an alternative and finally settled for Budget. It's very similar to Monarch but better and more affordable. I also like that they're Canadian first. Connects with all my institutions except CIBC which I have to re authorize all the time (it was the same on monarch too) and I like the AI features. The only problem I have with them is lack of investment tracking but their support team said they'd make that available this year, so I guess I'd see.

I've been looking for Canadian budgeting app and Budget just works for me. I'm able to add my partner to my account and I can show him only what I want to show him. Other apps show people you add everything, so I like that I can decide what I want to show someone. The customer support is also incredible helpful and quick which I appreciate.

Plaid Sucks! Paywall to connect your accounts except I've tried four different canadian banking institutions that are listed in the app and after every successful login to sign my account up, it says that it cannot complete!. Don't waste your money.
