5 stars for desktop app, but the mobile app literally does everything but the one thing I actually want it to do. In the present state It's useless without giving your passwords to the cloud. The only reason I selected buttercup over other password managers is that it is offline. Until this app can read local .bcup files I have for my laptop and desktop I consider it broken and does not deliver what the desktop version does, it can't even create local .bcup archives.

I'm just starting to use this app. It seems like it has potential. Still, it seems like it's in a rough stage, as the UI is really rough. I do like the main homepage and the way the vault looks, though. I don't know if it's just me, but there is no import or export feature while using the local vault. I think having a local vault is a plus, and a reason to get this app. There are no other native open source password managers apps on iOS or Android that have full offline vault support (no cloud).

The Google Drive authentication is no longer working. And my old vaults were lost with the new update

Desktop app is great. This version. . .Google Drive folder access is bugged and the beta local file use is junk. Why doesn't local actually use the regular folders?

Only reads cloud files! This needs the same desktop function to access local files! Or else why not go with any of the other competition
