Description

The CA Schools app helps you find, save, and share nearby California schools by searching on a variety of criteria.

With location based searches, you can find schools by your physical location, a custom map, counties & school districts, cities, or ZIP codes. Additionally, you can filter on specific school types (such as K-12 or High Schools), school names, public/private, and more.

Search results are displayed as pins on an intuitive map view as well as a sortable list view. You can save favorite searches for later as well as share your searches and results with friends and family.

Selecting a school you're interested in will display details and data reports collected by the California Department of Education. Details include school contact information (e.g. email, phone, website, etc), administrator contact information, reports on assessments, demographics, and much more!

I hate apps that reinvent Google Maps and bookmarks. Should have spent the money on improving cde.ca.gov - it needs it! Standardized test results are nothing but the regular mobile-unfriendly Web page in an embedded browser. Also, Theresa Reid is an employee and should not be 5-starring her own app.

If I could rate this as a Zero, that would describe this app. This app doesn't help you find your school without you inputting the exact address. If you knew that, then you wouldn't need an app
