Calculator Vault: Hide Photos

Calculator Vault is a real, working calculator that also hides your private photos, videos, documents, audio and notes in an encrypted vault on your phone. Type your PIN on the calculator and press = to open the vault. Anyone else sees just a normal calculator.

Your files are encrypted on your phone with AES-256 (AES-GCM). There is no server and no account with us, and we never hold a copy of your files. Open any file manager and all you will find is encrypted data, not your photos. Your vault lives only on this device, so keep an encrypted backup file of your own — without one, a lost phone or an uninstall means the vault is gone.

Hide photos and videos, documents and audio, and private notes. Search across the vault, organise files into folders, and hide items from every list until you unhide them. The built-in viewer and player open files inside the vault, so nothing is sent back to your gallery to be viewed. A private camera takes photos straight into the vault, never into the gallery. Lists stay paged as your library grows.

Premium adds a decoy vault, intruder selfie and intruder location, a lost-phone location log, a PIN for any folder, a 30-day Trash, Safe Send, and encrypted backup and transfer to a new phone. A decoy PIN opens a separate vault you can stock with ordinary photos and notes, so it looks like a small ordinary vault. The intruder selfie takes a photo after repeated failed PIN attempts, and break-in reports can also store a location fix. Locations are recorded on your phone only and are never sent anywhere; live remote finding remains Android's Find My Device. Safe Send shows an item in a view that closes after 20 seconds. No app can control screenshots or copies made outside it.

Free includes the full working calculator and the encrypted vault for up to 100 items in up to 3 folders, plus private camera, search and Hidden items, private notes, Security Center, Panic lock, Hide from Recents, all 6 themes, Change Icon, auto-lock, Change PIN, and email recovery. Free shows a banner ad on vault lists only — never on the calculator face, the PIN screen, or the viewer.

Premium is one entitlement, three ways to pay: Monthly $3.99, Yearly $12.99, or Lifetime $29.99 one-time. Premium removes all ads forever, removes the item and folder limits, and unlocks every Premium feature above. Monthly and Yearly include a 7-day free trial (never on Lifetime): cancel before day 7 or you will be charged. Payment goes through Google Play. If Premium ends, your vault becomes view-only: no export, no edit, no add. Your files are never locked, moved to Trash, or deleted for non-payment, and Trash restore and backup restore stay available. Paying again restores full use.

Security Center shows your real protection status: encryption, backup status, failed attempts, and whether decoy, intruder selfie, Trash, and recovery email are on. Panic lock locks the vault instantly when you put the phone face-down, shake it, or tap once. Hide from Recents keeps the vault out of the recent-apps list, and Change Icon disguises the launcher icon so no one can tell it is a vault. The disguise is for people holding your phone; this listing says plainly that Calculator Vault is a private vault.

Forgot your PIN? Reset it with the recovery email you set up, and your files stay encrypted and intact. Whoever controls that email can reset your PIN, so only use an email only you can open.

Permissions are minimal, asked only when you turn a feature on. Camera: private camera and intruder selfie only. Location: intruder location and the lost-phone log only, and only if you turn them on. No contacts, no microphone, and the system photo picker means no broad storage access. No private browser, app lock, or cloud sync in this version, by design.
