This app has been a lifesaver as my parent moved into an assisted living community. Reusing an older tablet allowed me to set this up quickly. The reminders are really helpful, they use the to understand their day, and the video call has been a great feature to allow me to check in on them quickly.

The two apps, Calendar Clock Administrator and Calendar Clock Dementia Clock work as advertised. I use the administrator on my Android and the Calendar Clock on an old iPad, so you can cross the platforms. While most of the features are free, I purchased one of the in-app upgrades to support the developer. That one time purchase gets you features that others charge a monthly fee for!

Excellent!! I've installed this app on two old Nexus 7 tablets. One beside my mother's bed and one where she sits and reads. Both tablets are synced and can display the date and time plus a current message or the next event from her Google calendar (works with iOS too). I can change the messages and settings from my phone at any time. It doesn't require any SIM and the most common functions are FREE! You can subscribe for an upgraded version which allows video conferencing if you wish.
