This is not a calendar app. It is twelve calendar widgets for the calendar you already keep — the month, one to four weeks, an hour-by-hour day grid, today, or just what is coming next, drawn straight onto your home screen. The Month widget is free; the other eleven are one optional purchase.

NO INTERNET PERMISSION AT ALL

Most calendar widgets ask for the network. This one cannot use it: the app ships without the INTERNET permission, and you can check that yourself in Android's app info. No ads, no account to create, no server to sync with, no analytics, no tracking of any kind. Your events are read on the device and drawn into the widget, and nothing about your calendar ever leaves it.

• Month — the full month view at a glance, with event titles right in the day cells
• Weeks — a one, two, three, or four week view; just the horizon you actually plan against

Every widget resizes freely on the home screen and can be reconfigured later, without being removed and added back. On a tablet the same widget simply gets more room — more days in view, more events in every day.

WORKS WITH THE CALENDAR YOU ALREADY USE

There is no new calendar to move into and no second account to keep in step. Google Calendar, Samsung Calendar, your work calendar — anything that syncs into this device's calendar shows up in the widget. Tap a day to read it, or tap an event to open it in your own calendar app. Because your schedule is read from the device and never fetched, the widgets keep working offline — in a tunnel, on a plane, with mobile data off.

A stock calendar widget clashes with your home screen. These don't have to.

• A blurred version of your wallpaper — or a photo of your own — behind the translucent skins
• Material You, so the widget takes its colors from your wallpaper (Android 12+)

The Month calendar widget is free, and so are the styling controls that come with it — weekday, Saturday and Sunday colors, date and event font sizes, word wrap, sorting, calendar selection, and the rest. One optional purchase unlocks the other eleven widgets, the six skins, the wallpaper and photo backgrounds, and custom event text colors. It is a one-off unlock, not a subscription: nothing recurs, and it stays unlocked on any device signed in to the same Google account.
