Please email us if you observe any inconsistencies. - Due to restriction in Box API, Calibre Sync must acquire write permission in order to download files, download is not a read action on Box. Calibre Sync guarantees that it will not perform any write actions against your data in Box cloud account. - Calibre Sync use WebDav API of Nextcloud and OwnCloud services, and it requires case sensitive file system to work properly. Therefore, you must make sure that your libraries are set up on case sensitive file system (Linux, recent MacOS, Windows NTFS with case sensitive enabled).

The interface is maybe not the most intuitive, but the app is exactly what I was looking for and works well. Thanks.

I used Caliber Companion for years, and was sorry to see it go. But I actually find Caliber Sync suits me better (except I wish I could sync back reading dates - you can, but only to caliber Content Server libraries). It's been working well for me for quite a while, then caliber changed their database and CS wouldn't work with the latest version. I am delighted to see the last couple updates - fixed that problem, but also glad to see fixes in general (not abandoned). Thanks!

Incredibly powerful app and just what I was looking for! The developer is actively working to make this app better with each release and incorporates any of the suggestions and requests into new versions. I emailed requesting some support, and they replied within two days. Awesome! I have 1400+ books in my library and use the Caliber server option. Quick to search and find books that I want to put on my device. For those wanting sync-read-position -> moon+ reader is it.

Developer is no longer responsive. UI is a nightmare. It was worth a shot, but there's just not a proper offline caliber library browser app out there.

Caliber v9.0 changed its db and as a consequence, Caliber Sync now fails to update. Last update to Caliber Sync was 1 APR 2025. I have not been able to Sync since at least early January 2026, coinciding with Caliber's v9.0 upgrade. Specifically, Caliber Sync on OneDrive generates a "metadata true failed to load library info" error on sync. Gemini indicates the problem is widespread and due to major change in the Caliber db with v9.0. Ostensibly, introduced to improve performance.

Do not pay for this app! The Caliber sync doesn't work and when I use one drive you can't even open the books on it, you need another reader.
