- Muscle Hypertrophy
Controlled studies of repeated high-heat (100°C) dry sauna sessions in healthy men demonstrated modest increases in muscle mass and bone mineral content. The likely mechanism is the upregulation of heat shock proteins (HSPs), which promote protein synthesis, reduce inflammation, and support muscle regeneration.
