I live in an apartment building and when I first moved in no one had a key to my apartment but myself and the management. A few personal things came up missing blatantly leaving behind the empty package, so I purchased this camera/doorbell. I have a small decorative stand next to the door that no one bothers and most look the other way as they pass in front of the door. I'm still working on why the doorbell sometimes works and doesn't at others but the camera definitely serves its purpose.

The device is very good. My only constraint with it is that for some days now if pressed by a visitor it will ring on the doorbell device, but it will not ring on my phone. It will only bring notification on my phone. I have not been able to rectify this problem

Update: was a 3, now a 1 star. The app is not communicating with the camera. No notifications when someone rings or is at the door. I really like this doorbell and app. The biggest issue though is it randomly turns off motion detection. So without warning, there will be no surveillance happening. This is a huge issue as the point of having this is for some security and It's not very helpful if it randomly stops and has to be turned back on.

Just another aiwit scammer app however least aiwit doesn't have a paywall to view the cameras and access basic functions this is pure greed for whoever made all these clone apps that still link to aiwit on the backend smh your day will come God bless your thieving scamming dirty souls
