CAN-View

CAN-View connects to a paired Bluetooth OBD adapter (Serial Port Profile), initializes high-speed CAN at 500 kbit/s, and shows raw CAN traffic as text for technicians and advanced users.

Features

Choose the adapter from bonded devices (Bluetooth permissions on Android 12+).
STN mode (OBDLink and compatible): 11-bit CAN ID pass filter and mask; applied on Connect and on each Start CAN monitor; Stop sends STFCP to clear pass filters on the adapter.
ELM327 fallback: ATMA monitoring when STN commands are not available.
Log lines normalized as CAN_ID - hex bytes (e.g. 6F2 - 12 34 56 …).
Settings: light/dark theme, software license, about the app and company, version name.
Splash screen with logo; no sign-in.

The app does not decode proprietary OEM protocols or replace certified diagnostic equipment.
Results depend on adapter firmware and vehicle wiring. Use only where legal and safe — do not use the app in a distracting way while driving.
