Comments on OBDLink (OBD car diagnostics) for Android
★★★★★Brian Valentin· May 15, 2026
Was amazing until the latest update. I had multiple dashboards' setup for multiple cars, and now they are all messed up. I can't use half the screen for gauges.

Worked with my MX Professional. The added pid are worth the 15 dollars for a prius but very disappointing that after buying for a 2016 then plugging it into my 2011 it wants me to buy the same thing again. For some silly reason I thought that prius pid purchase would enable functionalities for all prius, but not so.

Fantastic app for all my needs. Wish the Android Auto display allowed for gauges, but it works.

A great app for using your Bluetooth OBD II connector to read diagnostic codes for your vehicle

A simple but good, well working app! It gives general codes and is pretty universal. I got the OBDLink CX for the beeper but with this app, I can also work with the other cars too!

Not at all user-friendly or intuitive. Torque may be abandoned but still has more PIDs and is much easier to navigate. Adding Custom PIDs is unnecessarily complex compared to Torque also with irrelevant field. Not to mention constantly showing "Manufacturer PIDs" for GM which my car isn't and can't be hidden. ++ Expected more from OBDLink. Great hardware, terrible app.

I was previously able to monitor my water pump RPM and my inverter coolant temperature on a dashboard display now when I go into Peds it says Toyota unavailable WTH!

Need to add Auto deep sleep feature if no Bluetooth connection to a device is detected after 1 hour. Some hybrid cars like Toyota OBD connection does not lose power after ignition is off. I did not use my car for several days came out the battery was dead. Just add no connection timer to the software would be even better if we could set the timer for how long we wanted to wait with no connection to go to sleep through the app

One essential thing I cannot do: read total mileage on Rav4 a2 2001. Mileage is essential for old cars.
