Comments on Canadian Electrical Practice E for Android
★★★★★
This App was super useful and helped me gain a firm understanding of the code book. Used it as my primary study source and passed the c of q test on the first go no problem
★★★★★
Good study tool. For 3 weeks I did a small quiz every day, with a full 100 question exam Saturdays and Sundays. From the results I felt confident I could pass the cofq. A week later I'm a licensed 309a electrician. I've heard from friends who have used it that they had conflicting or wrong answers, but I didn't come across that myself. Thank you!
★★☆☆☆
Very bad app. A lot of wrong answers they either are too lazy to rectify themselves or just plain forgot about. For quite a few questions they use the wrong code rules that aren't even applicable to those sections. Not only are the answers wrong but the work getting those answers are wrong. I've discussed these questions with head instructors of electrical programs and they agreed. I failed my red seal by 2% probably thanks to this app which threw me off on questions that would have saved me.
★★☆☆☆
As this is the only really well known exam application for the electrical red seal program. It sucks. There are a unacceptable number of incorrect "hints" most of which either reference out of date code or refer to things that are completely irrelevant to the question being asked. I wish there was literally anything better. But here we are.
