★★☆☆☆ Updated: It still sucks. If I knew the App was this bad I never would have bought the printer. Wastes too much time. Cannot send direct from image, wants to load every file. I have thousands of pics on my device. Have to turn on location. Also, when you are done, you have to answer a couple prompts to exit to next print job. What a complete waste of time.

★★☆☆☆ This is stupid. For once connecting with the canon g3501 scanner was somewhat simple BUT: you can't choose the name of the file and worse: you can't decide where it's going to be saved... I'm not even sure it actually saves anything. Also, since it's using the Wi-Fi to connect to the machine, you can't choose to send the scan anywhere else email, WhatsApp. This is theatrically idiotic. I got it to work on my cellphone though, but it was far from easy. Still can't choose a name for the scan file.

★★☆☆☆ It just never works. You install, uninstall, reboot printer and phone, both phone and printer are on same NW but searching never finds the printer. This is just a basic function in today's age, and they can't even get this right. I can set it up on the NW using the app, but it then never finds the printer. Don't bother buying this printer or using the SW, get an EPSOM or HP that actually works
