I cannot believe all these 1-3 star comments! For me, Canvas has been amazing! There is an occasional glitch here and there but other than that it is perfect to keep track of assignments, due dates, completed assignments etc. The only thing that got messed up was sometimes things were marked as graded when they weren't, other than that it ran perfectly. Will definitely use this for every semester in my future studies.

Easy to get into versus going through the main site. Just click on canvas, and it takes you to your courses.

The new UI is better but seeing an A instead of 97% bugs me. It's another click to go to grades to see percentage in a class.

In structure recently suffered a massive data breach due to many security failings on their part. It is outrageous that student data is kept accessible to Canvas admins in the first place (data can be kept encrypted so only schools can access it). Secondly the lack of transparency over the week and a half Canvas knew, and failed to stop the incident is infuriating.
