My experience with Canvas has been positive overall. At first, I needed some time to become familiar with the different features and where to find my courses, assignments, announcements, and grades. As I continued using it, I became more comfortable navigating the platform and submitting my work. One thing I appreciate about Canvas is that it keeps my course materials organized in one place. I can easily check upcoming assignments, read instructions, review feedback from my instructors, and more

Canvas makes it easy to keep track of assignments, grades, and communication with professors and classmates. I really appreciate how organized everything is, and the notifications help me stay on top of deadlines. The only issue I run into is that the app occasionally logs me out and won’t let me sign back in unless I use the mobile QR code scanner or switch to a browser. It’s a small inconvenience, but overall the app is still a very helpful and reliable tool for school.

The app used to be very user-friendly, but since the update it's quicker to get my laptop out of my backpack 》 open chrome 》 and login to canvas, than loading anything on the app.

Active courses don't show up. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged in over and over again. Courses show up fine on the web, but the app is unusable because courses simply do not show up.

Before the refreshed UI, loading the courses was fast, but the recent update made it a lot worse. It takes forever to load the courses. Please fix it.

The app's UI is fine, and I haven't experienced any issues with notifications. The downsides come from the load time and network handling. For whatever reason launching the app or clicking on things like grades, notifications, to-do list, etc. take FOREVER to load. It's not a network or hardware issue, just terrible optimization. Secondly, if you happen to open Canvas right when your phone loses Wi-Fi connection (happens more often than you would think), it logs you out every single time.
