Love this app, but please tell me we're working out the bugs from the latest update. Version 2.0.1 is more stable than 0.0, but still crashes often enough that my phone asked me to put it in deep sleep. Also, assignments aren't preloading properly in the speed grader. I have to swipe back-and-forth to get them to load at all if there are more than 2 submissions. Hoping to update my review soon... 🤞

After loving this app since 2019, then struggling it for all the 2024-25 school year, I once again love it. Not only did they finally add a full screen button to allow me to hide the scoring and comments pane, the comment pane has been updated as well and has some new useful features that I appreciate. I know it's a long shot, but I would still appreciate if you would optimize this for e-ink devices. I grade on an Onex Boox Go 10.3. It would be nice to have less lag when using the stylus.

It lacks functionality like a grade book and calendar view. It's only good for communication, but most likely Canvas is already sending you messages to your email, so there isn't any added benefit by singing the app, which is truly unfortunate

A lot of bugs/shortfalls, Really cumbersome to provide feedback by email. I've just use the web version. 2020-02-03: Bugs persist. Comments that don't show after submit when grading. 2023-03-19: Rubric section on grading tab allows modifying but not the addition of comments. 2025-12 App shows student work in assignment but speed grader has no work or assignment info. / Permissions updated w/o explicit connection to features or fixes raising security or privacy questions.

The most recent update took away the ability to filter the assignments by grade, and the usability just diminished by a significant amount. Also, the ability to write comments for each student was diminished because you can't easily do it as before, it was obviously designed by somebody who does not do grading every week. Please fix this and go back to the previous version.
